Eighteen teachers, administrators and friends searched for Algae near the shore of Lake Erie last Saturday, September 14th 2013. The University of Toledo organized trip is part of the LEADERS program which provides area science teachers practical community experience then making it relevant to students through the incorporation of Project-Based Science (PBS).
